G5 Howitzer Fire Control System (FCS) Integration – 2025

Between 11 to 13 November 2025, Grayline participated in a programme to incorporate the newly purchased Integrated Fire Control System (IFCS) for the G5 155mm Howitzers belonging to the Malaysian Army. The event verified that all delivered components complied with user requirements and met the technical standards of the programme. This achievement represents a key milestone ahead of system deployment.

The project is being managed by Advanced Defence Systems, in collaboration with various partners, including Safran Electronics & Defence, Shrike Marine, Thales South Africa and Grayline. This collaboration reflects the programme’s high technical demands and its multinational scope.

Grayline contributed to the programme through the fabrication of essential mechanical parts, particularly the system brackets, and the provision of the Observation Target Acquisition System. This successful integration reinforces Grayline’s commitment to precision engineering and reliable support for the Malaysian Army’s capability development initiatives.
